BSA to Be Featured on ‘Only in America With Larry the Cable Guy’

Scouts and Venturers from the Heart of America Council and the Theodore Naish Scout Reservation will take center stage in the June 28 episode of “Only in America With Larry the Cable Guy” on the History Channel.
In the program, the comedian and actor known as Larry the Cable Guy crisscrosses the nation “to find the people, places, and things that define this nation’s unique history.” Past episodes have shown Larry spend time as a county sheriff, an astronaut, a gold prospector, a mule breeder, and a trucker.
Volunteers from the Heart of America Council were chosen to help develop the program content and script for the episode, which was shot last fall. “Only in America With Larry the Cable Guy” airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. Central.
