As a Scouter, you might spend more time out of the office than in it. But what happens to all the calls you receive when you’re out? Even though it can be a challenge to return them, it’s a really important part of customer service. Make it a habit to return all phone calls within 24 hours. If you won’t be able to return calls, make sure your outgoing message mentions this and leave an alternate contact for emergencies.
