2013 Jamboree Visitor Experience Tickets, Website Now Available!

The Summit and the 2013 National Scout Jamboree are all about high adventure and fun. Visitors will see firsthand what that means at the Summit Center, where they can sample activities ranging from zip lines and BMX to rock climbing and shooting sports.

Jamboree visitor passes—including one-day, two-days, and all days—are now available, starting at $25 for a one-day pass for visitors who are 6–10 years of age.

Please share this information with your council’s jamboree contingent, units that may be traveling near the Summit, and anyone else who may want to participate in the fun!

When I was there in 2005, it was frustating to wait even longer in lines because of the visitors who had paid a fraction of the cost we had paid. In my opinion, visitors should not be allowed or their cost should be much more.

Unlike at jamborees past, visitors to the Summit will be restricted to an area called the Summit Center, where they can partake in many similar activities as those who pay full fees, but in a separate area. Those who pay full fees to attend will not be waiting behind those who purchase day passes. For more information, head to the Visitor Information page on the Summit’s website at: https://summit.scouting.org/en/Jamboree2013/Pages/Visitors.aspx

I wish they had an option for a visitors pass for people that did not want to participate in any activities. For example, I would love to be able to go up on one of the days to see what this place is all about but I am pregnant and will not be able to do any activities, yet I will have to pay the same price as the other visitors. I already had to pay an arm & a leg for my boys to go, hate the fact that I will have to pay yet again just to get in and look around.

My parents purchased 3 visitor passes. They STILL havn’t come in! If anyone has any info on when they will come in it would be GREATLY appreciated.
