Finance Impact e-Letter: AFP Fundraising Course Scheduled in Northeast
The August 1 issue of the Finance Impact Department’s e-Letter has been published and is available online.
In this issue, Development and Corporate Alliances announces their upcoming AFP Fundamentals of Fundraising course to be held in the Northeast Region at the Tropicana Atlantic City in New Jersey. The course offers BSA local council staff and volunteers an opportunity to earn continuing education credits toward their CFRE International initial certification or recertification. Also in this edition are resources for writing effective case statement; an article addressing the overhead myth, which includes a letter signed by the CEOs of BBB Wise Giving Alliance, GuideStar, and Charity Navigator addressed to the donors of America; Scouting Alumni Association’s Facebook “Like” competition, in which the alumnus with the most Facebook “Likes” will win a BSA collector’s edition poster; the BSA Asset Management update for the period ending June 30, 2013; and a list of Development and Corporate Alliances webinars through September 2013.
