Stand Up Paddleboarding Recognition Items Now Available

The new BSA Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) award—which introduces Scouts to the basics of SUP on calm water, including skills, equipment, self-rescue, and safety precautions—was rolled out just in time for the 2013 National Scout Jamboree. It has quickly become one of the favorite activities at the Florida National High Adventure Sea Base as well as many Scout camps around the country.

The emblem (No. 618632) and certificate (No. 618552) are both available from National Supply, and the award codes in ScoutNET PAS are as follows: youth (850) and adults (851). For more information, go to: http://www.scouting.org/sitecore/content/Home/OutdoorProgram/Aquatics.aspx
