Just Released: December 2013 CubCast and ScoutCast
The December 2013 CubCast highlights “Good Turns and Your Chartered Organization.” Whether a school, church, or fraternal organization, we’re sure your chartered organization is planning some kind of event or two for the holidays. Maybe it’s a food or clothing drive or maybe it’s a spaghetti dinner fundraiser. Whatever is it, your Cub Scout pack can probably help. Cub Scout program trainer Linda Goff of Oakridge, Tennessee, joins us for an in-depth discussion on not only how your Cub Scouts can help, but also, more importantly, why they should and the benefits to all involved.
This month’s ScoutCast features “Unique Challenges With the Eagle Scout Process.” As a young man grows from Life Scout to Eagle Scout, he goes through a set of prescribed requirements that must be met in order to earn the esteemed award. Sounds reasonable enough, right? Well, Wayne Huddleston, Eagle rank and Palm specialist on the National Advancement Committee, shares with us that sometimes the road to Eagle Scout doesn’t go as smoothly as it should.
